It’s me time. With a black pen, blank pocket Victoria Journal, plugged earphones in my ears; no music played, a mug of decaf komodo dragon, I wrote myself away…
The noise of people buzzing during Starbuck’s busy hour and the sound of baristas working on frappes and brews; occasionally calling out names of people I don’t know, seeping through the feigning earplugs, were like symphony in my ears
I am a confident introvert amidst the crowd; not shying away;not uneasy with the people around;not draining my energy. I am on my own little space in the middle of a crowded room; sitting on a lone chair and table; owning that little world I created for myself.
My hands were busy inking blank pages, grabbing the mug of decaf komodo dragon, drinking and savoring the strong bitter taste, waking up from within, just like finding an inspiration from all those ground coffee beans.
If people are going to ask about my day, perhaps, the only thing I can say is that ,”I spent it introverting away.”
